Crime Prevention By Sandton Central PSA Featured
On March 18th, on the corner of Rivonia and West Streets, the Sandton Central Public Safety Ambassadors observed, whilst on patrol, two suspects breaking into a grey VW Polo. On noticing the PSA's the suspects fled the scene immediately in a vehicle but returned shortly thereafter.
The PSA again observed the suspicious vehicle arriving back into the vicinity and requested for back up and informed SAPS immediately.
Two suspects were arrested and taken to the Morningside Police Station where a criminal case was opened.
It was discovered that a laptop, CD bag and headphones were stolen from the vehicle.
As a recommendation and preventative measure we urge you not to leave any valuables in your vehicle.
