Roberto Rosa succeeds Hans Prenner at Michelangelo

Roberto Rosa has been appointed as GM of Legacy Hotels and Resorts' flagship hotel, the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton. He succeeds Hans Prenner, who retires this month after more than a decade as GM.
Rosa's family involvement in the hospitality industry was a foundation of his passion for the industry and after completing his hotel school training in in Italy he came to South Africa in 1976 and worked for various hotel and casino resorts within the Holiday Inn, Sun International and Southern Sun groups.
After a break from the hotel industry to found his own restaurant franchise, he returned to the industry to join the Legacy Hotels and Resorts Group.
The December issue of Hotel & Restaurant, which will be distributed in early December, contains an interview with Hans Prenner, by the Gauteng editor of Hotel & Restaurant, Susan Reynard.
