Open Street Sessions is a programme of contemporary live street performance providing fun and excitement on the streets in a way that encourages people to share and experience the area.
The Pizzicato's: 5 gorgeous woman singing a’ capella dressed in off-the-edge Afro contemporary outfits with outrageous wigs. They enchant audiences with their soft voices & subtle movements, telling African stories through their songs. A modern African version of the ‘Andrew Sisters’.
Steve Newman: The accomplished South African acoustic guitarist has a passion for music and arts, and will share this on the streets of Sandton Central.
Real Actions: A Pantsula dance company from in Orange Farm teach the Diski Dance in Sandton Central.
David Felix: entertains using hypnosis and close - up magic. Besides performing at restaurants and at select private and corporate functions, he happily gives free performances in aid of charity.
Magic Man: World-class performer Magic Man is one of the most experienced and well-travelled magicians in the country. He has been touring North America, Canada and Asia for the past 15 years building an impressive list of achievements. From the Rolling Stones at the Sticky Fingers restaurant in London to the "wrap-up" party in Vancouver for U2's Zooropa Tour, Magic Man has entertained the finest!

A new dance style, in celebration of the 2010 Soccer World Cup, is taking South Africa by storm and the dance's tangible energy will soon be on the streets of Sandton Central. The Diski Dance, spearheaded by SA Tourism, encourages all South Africans to break it down and learn the dance moves ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Soon, all visitors, residents and tourists in Sandton Central can learn the Diski from one of South Africa's hottest pantsula dance groups, Real Actions.
